Sierra was a feral kitten running around the back yard of a friend of Thundering Paws. One day our friend noticed that Sierra was dragging her right front leg behind her. It took two weeks of diligent effort, but Sierra was finally trapped and taken to the vet, who examined her and believed she had been hit by a car. Since there was too much nerve damage to save the leg, it was amputated. Sierra came to Thundering Paws and was tamed. She gets around just fine on three legs and is a very sweet kitty. She might be a bit shy at first, but once she knows you, she'll come over and roll onto her back for belly pets.
